Our mailing list has over 2,500 members. As a Banner Advertiser, your business name and link are included in our monthly newsletter. Each newsletter also links members back to the web site with photos and upcoming event information, so your ad receives more exposure every month.
LSpotPalmSprings.com has had over 80,000 hits and receives more first time hits every day.
We promote link exchange with dozens of local and national sites to bring attention to the L Spot site from all over the world
Special events such as our monthly L Spot Professional Womens Mixers generate constant and consistent awareness of the site throughout the area.
Specs & Submissions
Submitting Digital Materials
Submit your graphics in ad size specified, in jpg or gif format only. Include your web site hyperlink URL. If you do not have a web site, we can link your ad to a directory listing on one of the L Spot Directory pages. Please notify sales if you wish to request this.
Acceptable Digital File Sizes and Types
Only GIF or JPG format files will be accepted. Flash is accepted for a minimal amount of ads. 18k max, Flash - 23k maximum size. Animated gifs are accepted. Please arrange through sales.
Editorial Submissions
All text must be delivered through the internet, and must be either in Microsoft Word files saved in plain text format, or ASCII format. (No bold, italic, colored text etc. - it doesn't transfer to the web.) Please submit all feature editorial copy to our editor at editor@lspotpalmsprings.com. L Spot's editor reserves the right to edit all material for grammar, appropriate content and length.
Media Release Submission
If you have a Press/Media release that is relevant to the PalmSprings/Lesbian community, please email it to us at editor@lspotpalmsprings.com along with a request that it be posted on the L Spot site, and provide the run dates so it can be added to a directory. Web ready art (jpg or gif format) may also be accepted for special community non-profit events. Note: ads made for print do not usually work on the web.
Need help creating an ad?
If you need help creating your banner ad, we can refer you to a graphic artist to create a banner ad for you. Typical setup for a new Logo or Square Banner Ad runs $25-$50; the price goes up depending on size and detail, and amount of work involved. Ad set-up fees may vary depending on resources available from client, and designers rates. For more information or to arrange your banner design, please email sales@lspotpalmsprings.com.
Link Sharing
Available only to non-profit organizations, groups and services.
Email our editor at editor@lspotpalmsprings.com with your link exchange request. We will evaluate your site for compatibility (Lesbian/Gay or women related social, lifestyle, community or political sites only.) No pornographic sites need apply. Upon approval & confirmation of our exchange, we will post your site's url as well as logo, if provided.

Private Policy
LSpotPalmSprings.com values your privacy. We do not sell our mailing lists, and all private information is kept in the strictest confidence. If payments are made using a credit card on Paypal, rest assured, your transactions are safe. (Lspot never sees your credit card information.)
Right of Refusal
We are looking for ads with products and services that will enhance our site and provide valid information to our visitors. LSpotPalmSprings.com reserves the right to refuse, at its sole discretion, any advertiser or any particular banner or text from an advertiser. Our site is directed at the greater Palm Springs lesbian community and dedicated to the promotion of lesbian friendly events, businesses, projects, and products. Advertising from unrelated companies may be rejected, as will ads with excessive animation as it may cause undue download time for our members. We expect that any advertiser and their banners will reflect a positive professional image. We will not accept ads which we deem inappropriate.
Pornography or references to any illegal activity is strictly forbidden on LSpotPalmSprings.com. All ads will be screened for acceptable/appropriate content and L Spot's editor has the ultimate right to refuse/edit any ad if deemed inappropriate.
