Happy 40th Anniversary of Stonewall! In 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, the drag queens finally had had enough. After yet another police raid, they fought back. Their rage and outrage kicked the courage of early gay activists to another level of visibility.

Hot new cabaret production, Louche, opens Thursday, June 11 at Confession in Palm Springs. Original lyrics, about 20 musical numbers, comedy, spicy language, great props and sets. Stars Allison McKay, Natasha Gabor, Fleet, Jersey Shore, Donnie Navarro and Patrick Reese. Tibor Lesko Trio will provide show music. The Desert Winds Freedom Band  
Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 7:00–9:30 pm at the Joslyn Senior Center in Palm Desert. Come join us! The Desert Winds Freedom Band is a not-for-profit, volunteer group of more than 45 gay and gay-friendly musicians dedicated to providing cultural, social and educational enrichment to its audiences and its members. The Band has a core of dedicated musicians who love to play concert band music together. Some are professionals and others haven't played since they graduated from high school many years ago.
